PORTRAIT, FASHION & EDITORIAL LIGHTING WORKSHOP WITH A TWIST

MARCH 24-25 -  (TOTAL 10 ATTENDEES)

LOCATION: PINELLAS PIONEER SETTLEMENT, ST. PETERSBURG, FL

Come join me for my return to St. Petersburg for an unbelievable 2 days of shooting, posing, lighting, and composition as I show you how to creating amazing images.

This workshop has a limited amount of spots available as we keep the workshops smaller to make sure everyone has a wonderful learning experience.

If you’re a novice, you’ll go home prepared to take your portfolio to the next level where you’ll stop reaching out to models because they’ll be reaching out to you. If you’re already at that level, you’ll leave much closer to turning your hobby into a career. Still not you, or already in career mode? Then let’s get you ready for the higher expectations that come with bigger clients and greater paychecks. In other words, this Workshop is aimed toward all levels of photographers looking to improve the finer details of their outdoor game.

This Workshop is not a mass shootout with a bunch of photographers bumping shoulders for half-decent snapshots of a model who isn’t sure where to look. Instead, you’ll shoot each model 1-on-1 and walk away with images that deserve your watermark alone! The Workshop is geared toward those who simply want to produce better pictures on-location — whether working with experienced models or new faces.

This is a PORTFOLIO BUILDING WORKSHOP, which means you get to not only learn how to create amazing images, but you have the opportunity to work with models at the workshops to create images to build your portfolio that will wow your clients and get you the business that you deserve. You get to use the images for your website, your prints, marketing and more!

There will be many light setups. Each attendee will have to create a lighting setup for a particular look. The objective is to get you thinking how to dissect an image and create it. I will be there to assist you every step of the way and help you to achieve your image. This will be a totally hands on workshop from the beginning to the end. If you're looking to break out of your shell and really understand how light works make sure you get your spot.

--Day 1 of the workshop will include heavy instruction and hands-on shooting where you get to observe and participate with me in the shooting process. This is critical for you to see how I build the fundamentals of my shots that help them to have that pop that people love. There will be dedicated times for the group to shoot models on their own with separate work stations provided. I will then sit with each person and go over thier portfolio and give them tips and tricks for how they can get the most out of the workshop, how to enhance their business/hobby, and how to grow. This will occur during the first scheduled hour of the workshop and will be scheduled out with each attendee ahead of time.

** Lunch wil be served on Saturday.

--Day 2 of the workshop will provide some more flexibility for the group. This will be a day where those who feel comfortable shooting on their own and building their portfolio will really be able to have some fun. Dedicated stations with lighting and more will be provided with models for the attendees to shoot and get some amazing shots for their portfolio. Then we will head on over to the beach for some final looks.
